Study of an instrument goes beyond correct notes and rhythm. It develops dedication, perseverance, patience, confidence and creativity. I teach students to tell the story through music, positively encourage correct habits and seek to instill a consistent work ethic.
My students play in my annual piano recital, as well as in PVMTA monthly recitals.

I prepare for NJMTA Competitions, RCM Examinations, summer festivals, as well as college and conservatory auditions.

Welcome to my studio, where wonderful things happen each week!

We juggle hard work, good music, technique and FUN.

All students have a daily practice plan, and receive regular weekly private lessons and twice monthly Saturday Group Classes during the school year, and optional lessons by appointment in the summer.

Students are motivated to progress by preparing for our January Group Concert, Spring Solo Recital, preparation for the annual American String Teacher's Association Certificate Advancement Program Exam, and participation in school and regional ensembles and orchestras.

The Calderone School of Music is a NJ Registered Professional Development Provider and offers private music lessons for all ages and levels on all instruments: strings, woodwinds, brasses, percussion, organ, piano, accordion, keyboards, voice, and popular, jazz and classical guitar and bass. The school also has a College Preparatory Division and Professional Development Division. “Kindermusik” classes are offered as a fun-fill enriching adventure in music concepts for young children from 18 months to age 7 years and a Suzuki Strings Plus Program.
