My passion is teaching the joy of music to all ages. Piano beginners through early advanced, both children and adults. Piano lessons are given in my home or yours, however I teach organ on the instrument practiced on. I also teach Musikgarten Music and Movement classes for young children. I have been teaching private piano lessons for over 30 years. I specialize teaching the young beginner, starting at age 4. I have a Bachelor of Music degree from Washburn University in Topeka, KS. Along with the actual keyboard work, the student also learns all the scales, music theory and basic ear training. I don't use one particular method, but custom the method used to the student.
