Since 2009, I've taught private trumpet and cornet lessons to more than 55 students ranging from 10 to 81 years old. Since 2010, I've taught beginning brass (trumpet, trombone, French horn, and baritone) at Skyview Middle School in Bothell. I'm a member of the U.W. Husky Alumni Band and the church orchestra at Alderwood Community Church in Lynnwood. I regularly present one-hour trumpet shows at retirement communities in the Greater Seattle Area. As a Navy veteran, I have been the VFW Post 1040 Bugler since 2011, and have sounded bugle calls at military funerals, memorials, and ceremonies more than 200 times. Before Covid, I traveled to your home for private lessons if you live between I-90 (including Mercer Island) and Everett---or generally, within ~30-minute drive of my home in Edmonds.
