Teaching students of all ages and all levels to gain a love of playing the piano is what I offer. I blend different styles ranging from classical to contemporary and use technology including JoyTunes, Guitar Band and other apps. In addition to recitals, my students participate in AIM, Northshore Northwestern Festival of Music and other contests. I have a degree from U of IL, and hold a professional certificate in piano from the National Music Teacher's Association. I am currently an officer on the Illinois State Music Teacher's board of directors. I also have experience teaching Orff classes to preschoolers as well as kindergarden music in the Chicago school system.
